1. Entry-Level & Temporary Teachers
- Nationality: Must be a Barbadian Citizen or a CARICOM National with legal provisions to work.
- Academic Baseline: Minimum of five (5) CXC/CSEC subjects at General Proficiency level (Grades 1-3), which must include English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject.
- An Associate Degree or a certificate in a specialized discipline is a distinct asset.
2. Qualified / Permanent Teachers
- Higher Education: A Bachelor’s Degree or higher from a recognized university in the relevant subject/specialization field.
- Professional Training: An approved teacher-training qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree in Education) from an accredited institution such as Erdiston Teachers' Training College (ETTC).
- Prior educational leadership or classroom teaching experience is heavily favored.
