My Voice, My Barbados

The competition will begin within participating schools before progressing to national-level competition. The pathway will be:

School/Institution Round → Zonal Competitions → National Final
 

1.School/Institution Registration

Each school or institution wishing to participate must complete the School/Institution Registration Form by Friday, 2 October 2026.
As part of registration, the Principal/Head of Institution must identify one School/Institution Coordinator who will serve as the primary liaison with the My Voice, My Barbados Programme Team. The Coordinator will receive the competition guidelines and supporting materials and will oversee the institution’s participation. Schools and institutions are therefore invited to confirm their participation and nominate their Coordinator by completing the registration form below no later than Friday, 2 October 2026.

2. School/Institution Round

Between 3 and 8 October 2026, participating institutions will conduct an internal competition using the national themes, rules, timing standards and judging framework provided.
Each institution will select:

a. Champion – the student who will represent the institution at the next stage; and

b. Reserve – the student who will remain registered should the Champion become unavailable or unable to continue.

3. Champion & Reserve Registration

Once selected, the Champion and Reserve must be formally registered by Friday, 9 October 2026. The School/Institution Coordinator will work closely with the selected students and their parents/guardians, providing them with the registration link and supporting them where necessary to ensure that the form is completed by the deadline.

4. Progression to the National Competition
Following the School/Institution Rounds, Primary and Secondary Champions will progress to Zonal Competitions from 12–15 October 2026.  Successful participants will advance to the My Voice, My Barbados National Final on Sunday, 15 November 2026.
