Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for a scholarship offered by the Rotary of Barbados West for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Applicants must be citizens of Barbados between the ages of sixteen (16) and twenty (20) years, who have matriculated at a university for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The scholarship is for study at a regional university and is in the form of an educational grant valued at five thousand Barbados dollars (BDS. $ 5,000.00) per year for the duration of the course of study being undertaken to a maximum of fifteen thousand Barbados dollars
(BDS. $ 15,000.00).
Persons applying for the award:
(a) must show evidence of good academic performance; and
(b) must show evidence of financial need.
Special consideration will be given to areas of study which are considered of high priority to the development of Barbados.
