This summer, the Oceana Innovation Hub invites young people to explore, create and innovate through the BlueX Accelerator Summer Programme: a dynamic four-week experience where ocean and climate learning come to life.
Through hands-on activities, real-world challenges, immersive field experiences, swimming, technology and project-based learning, participants will explore exciting areas including Sargassum, Marine Technology & Robotics, Aquaculture, Blue Tourism and more.
The programme culminates in the BlueX Innovation Challenge, where students will put their ideas into action and develop solutions inspired by the future of Barbados and the blue economy.
